Read quotas reset each minute. Exceeding one returns 429 resource_exhausted with Retry-After in seconds. Account limits are shared across integrations. A file’s declared size reserves capacity before upload. Retry-After is a minimum wait; time alone may not release reserved capacity. Use a saved key to retry creation without reserving another file.
